About Table S or the Shared Pool

What is Table S or the 'shared pool'?

Table S lists majors, minors, and electives available to all students undertaking a liberal studies degree and selected other degrees. Students undertaking a combined Bachelor of Advanced Studies must also complete a second major from Table S or Table A of their first degree.

Table S is conceptualised as a 'shared pool' as its components are not specific to individual degrees. The following areas offer majors and minors in the shared pool:

  • Architecture and Interaction Design
  • Arts and Social Sciences
  • Business and Commerce
  • Education and Social Work
  • Engineering and Computer Science
  • Health, Medicine and Dentistry
  • Music
  • Science, Agriculture, Environment and Veterinary Science.

The available majors and minors in Table S are listed below. Their requirements can be found by clicking on the link to the relevant subject area.
