Sydney Law School alumnus wins 30 Under 30 Award
A Master of Labour Law and Relations graduate was announced as a winner in the 2020 Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards.

The annual Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards recognises the outstanding achievements of Australia’s top young lawyers who are at the start of their career and under 30 years of age. There were 30 categories in this year’s awards and nearly 850 registrations.

This year, Sydney Law School alumnus, Daniel Tracey, was announced as the winner of the prestigious award in the category of Employment and Workplace Relations.

Daniel recently completed Sydney Law School’s Master of Labour Law and Relations and is now a Senior Associate at top-tier firm, Ashurst, advising Commonwealth Government agencies on a range of complex and sensitive employment and industrial relations matters.

On winning the 30 Under 30 Award, Daniel said:

"It is a genuine honour to be recognised for the work I've done over the past year. This award truly reflects the high quality work we do as a team at the firm, and beyond that, is proof that a platform to champion causes I care about goes together with high calibre legal work, which ultimately (I hope) makes a meaningful impact on my clients and my community."

“It is great to see Sydney Alumni being recognised as outstanding young lawyers and demonstrating the skills and knowledge they acquire at the Sydney Law School which consistently put them ahead of the pack.”
Dean and Head of Sydney Law School, Professor Simon Bronitt
