Far from their place of birth and death, who decides how these individuals are treated, studied, or displayed? What responsibilities arise when the dead are also understood as ancestors by living communities? 

This archaeologist led gallery tour is followed by an exclusive behind-thescenes experience, where you’ll encounter objects linked to funerary practices – an exploration of lives and afterlives, and the complexities of care across ancient, historical and contemporary time.
