To mark NAIDOC Week 2025, join us for a free guided tour of the Chau Chak Wing Museum’s Ambassadors exhibition with Indigenous Heritage Curator Marika Duczynski.
Ambassadors is the Museum’s ongoing display of First Nations culture and heritage. Throughout the Museum, you will meet ‘ambassadors’ from different regions of Aboriginal Australia.
In this tour, Marika will describe each of the Ambassadors as well as outline the museum’s rich collection of Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islander cultural heritage and our ongoing work with communities from across Australia.
Marika Duczynski is Curator, Indigenous Heritage at the Chau Chak Wing Museum. A Gamilaraay and Mandandanji writer and curator, Duczynski previously worked in Indigenous engagement at the State Library of NSW and curated the Dyarrubin exhibition, which shares Darug stories from the Hawkesbury River region.
Marika has co-curated the recent Chau Chak Wing Museum exhibition Mugari.
