Join us at Parramatta Library for a free 2 hour workshop, with archaeologists, historians and artists from the University of Sydney's Chau Chak Wing Museum. You will explore the Chau Chak Wing Museum’s collection through the theme of journeys.

You will be able to handle some objects and artefacts from the museum’s collection and engage in activities centring around:

  • Artefacts from the ancient Egyptian world
  • Ancient writing and symbols from Mesopotamian artefacts and their similar uses today
  • The evolution of photographic technology
  • Explore the history of Parramatta through archival photographs and map your own journey!

This workshop is suitable for individuals aged 8 to 14 years.
