Summary

I am Professor of Political Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy, and was most recently Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) from 2015-2022; Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences from 2010-2015; and Head of the School of Humanities from 2007-2009.  His books include Can Liberal States Accommodate Indigenous Peoples? (2020), The Ashgate Research Companion to Multiculturalism (2010), Rights (2008), Postcolonial Liberalism (2002), Political Theory and the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (2000), and The Self at Liberty (1997).
