Warr Group

Amphiphile self-assembly, complex fluids and interfacial structure
Our research is directed at understanding how complex materials arise from competing intermolecular forces, and how this understanding allows us to design new materials.

Our research

Current projects include:

  • Structure and Self-Assembly in Ionic Liquids and Deep Eutectic Solvents
  • Complex Fluid Emulsions
  • Novel Amphiphiles
  • Self-Assembly Under Extreme Conditions

Our people

  • Professor Gregory Warr
  • Dr Pramith Priyananda, Research Associate with A/Prof Brian Hawkett
  • Dr Alex Djerdjev, Research Associate with A/Prof Brian Hawkett
  • Dr Paul FitzGerald, jointly with Sydney Analytical
