Our libraries are located on different campuses and specialise in particular subjects. They have a wide range of facilities, including spaces for group and individual study.

Access to library and study spaces
We have made the decision to keep our library and study spaces open and we need everyone who is able to wear a mask to do so, as required under the public health orders, so we that we can continue to offer these spaces to students who need them. Please wear a mask and make sure that you familiarise yourself with the conditions of entry for these spaces prior to coming to campus. Make sure you are familiar with the conditions of entry in study spaces and the library before visiting campus. 

Study Spaces
The Carslaw Learning Hub, Camden Commons and The Quarter (for postgraduate students) study spaces will be open 24/7 from the start of Semester 2.

Fisher Library and the Law School Library will be open from 12pm – 8pm, seven days a week. Online service and support remains available. Please check the Library website for further information.

In our libraries you can access:

  • a wide range of databases and other electronic resources
  • thousands of books
  • research assistance
  • subject guides
  • guidelines on writing, citing and referencing
  • printing, scanning and photocopying facilities
  • study spaces.

Getting access

Your student card is your library card and you can use it to borrow items and access the library after hours.

Many of the library facilities are online and can be accessed from your phone or computer. Some of our libraries are open 24 hours, seven days a week.
