What is the difference between a simple extension and special consideration?

A simple extension is an informal arrangement where you can receive an extension of five calendar days for non-examination tasks.

Can I appeal my special consideration outcome?

Yes. If you are not happy with the special consideration outcome or consideration that’s been granted to you, and feel you have genuine grounds to contest it, you can apply to have the decision reviewed.

When will I graduate?

A couple of weeks after your final results are released, if you’re assessed as eligible to graduate we'll send you a completion letter letting you know your degree will be conferred (awarded your degree).

Can I request an earlier conferral date?

In some situations, you may need to request a different conferral date.

How do I check my course progress?

Throughout your course, it’s a good idea to regularly check your own progress against your handbook requirements and plan out your remaining semesters.
