Health services
Doctors and allied healthcare on campus
Your health and wellbeing is one of our top priorities. That’s why we encourage you to take advantage of the convenient healthcare facilities on our campuses.
Whether you’re in need of treatment for an injury, illness, or have any health concern, the University Health Service can help.
These services are available to all students and staff of the University of Sydney.
General practitioner services
Based on Level 3 in the Wentworth Building next to City Rd on the Darlington campus, the University Health Service offers bulk-billed appointments with doctors five days a week.
Other services include vaccinations for travellers, healthcare workers and animal care workers; women’s health; sports medicine; pathology testing; and clinical psychology services to assist with personal difficulties.

If your health is adversely affecting your studies, you could be eligible for special consideration.
COVID-19 vaccinations
The University Health Services has Covid-19 Pfizer bivalent vaccine appointments available for staff, students, and their spouses, aged over 18.
Appointments are only available to Medicare card holders, and you will need to bring your staff or student card with you. Make a booking online.
International students and others without a Medicare Card can be vaccinated for free at NSW Health and Government Vaccination Clinics.
Counselling and mental health services
We also have a dedicated team of psychologists and counsellors who work alongside students to ensure they are running at their peak performance. Free and confidential, our Student Counselling Service is available to help in times of anxiety, stress and crisis management.
Our philosophy is about empowering you to make the most of your time at the University of Sydney by giving you the skills you need to take problems in your stride, and build upon your strengths.
