GOVT4114: Govt and Int Relations Honours Thesis 1
2024 unit information
This unit is the first semester of a year-long project to complete an Honours thesis. Each student writes an 18-20000 word thesis under the supervision of a full-time member of the Government Department staff. The thesis is expected to make an original contribution to the study of politics and international relations and will count for 60 percent of the student's fourth year grade.

At the completion of this unit, you should be able to:
- LO1. show an advanced understanding of concepts, theories and methods used to analyse and research topics in politics and international relations.
- LO2. demonstrate the ability to apply those skills to policy-related and theoretical problems in the field.
- LO3. demonstrate an ability to design high level research projects.
