The Haematology and Oncology Blocks will start with a week of biomedical sciences relevant to the disciplines of haematology and oncology. Both blocks will be predominantly delivered in clinical schools with Palliative Care integrated across the 2 blocks. There will be one day a week of centralised lectures for haematology and oncology. The Medicine Surgery and Community Block 2 aims to further consolidate clinical skills such as core history taking, examination, clinical reasoning, teamwork and procedural skills in hospital and community settings through guided experiential learning. It is aligned with year 1 Blocks revisiting core symptoms from renal, nurology, gastroenterology and neurosciences with emphasis on clinical presentations, differential diagnosis, basic investigations and therapy.
