This unit will explore how current advances in medical science are providing solutions to the environmental impacts on human health with a focus on eating, breathing, and sleeping. Environmental impacts include climate change, new and emerging diseases, toxins, which affect diet, exercise, and cues that influence healthy patterns such as sleep. This unit will take on interdisciplinary approaches to explore these impacts and completion of this unit will ensure you understand successful strategies and approaches to addressing these important challenges in the medical sciences into the future.
