At the completion of this unit, you should be able to:

  • LO1. demonstrate further improvement of fluency in reading Devanagari script
  • LO2. demonstrate further knowledge of the principles and rules governing the combination of sounds (sa¿dhi)
  • LO3. command the principal grammatical features of the language
  • LO4. translate and construct more complex sentences in Sanskrit
  • LO5. understand the literature composed in Sanskrit and of the history and context for production of these texts.
