There are various opportunities to join the Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning, as a member of our academic or professional staff or in the capacity of a casual lecturer or tutor.
For more than 100 years, the Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning has fostered a diverse and collaborative environment for teaching, research and engagement. Our academics use ideas from the humanities, science, creative practice, and the social sciences to address modern built environment and design issues, from the design of wearable technologies to urban planning outcomes. We are proud that our people and students reflect the community we work and study in.
Periodically we seek casual lecturers and tutors to contribute to our teaching programs. The School offers several programs in architecture, design and planning across a wide range of study areas.
Successful candidates will:
Relevant experience is desirable and it is beneficial to hold, or have made significant progress towards obtaining, a postgraduate architecture, design or planning degree.
Note: Your expression of interest will be placed in our database, and as the need arises you may be contacted. Casual lecturers and tutors who have taught with the School in 2021 do not need to apply through this process.
