Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, a multi-disciplinary arts centre located on Tharawal country in the City of Liverpool, is our valuable placement partner working closely with the School of Humanities. As a renowned cultural facility in south-western Sydney, the Centre produces high-quality exhibitions, performances, festivals, screenings, theatre and events to inspire audiences all year round. Through the inclusion of Master of Cultural Studies interns in their workplace, they can gain advantage of acquiring profound insights into cultural process including popular culture, media, gender, sexuality, globalisation and consumer culture.

We asked Mr Luke Létourneau, Curatorial and Collections Lead at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, about his experience hosting Master of Cultural Studies interns in Semester 2, 2022.
