Display your skills and experience with verifiable online credentials
The University of Sydney has partnered with Accredible on a digital badging project which is currently being piloted by the Business School.
Digital badges are verified credentials that allow earners to easily communicate their skills and qualifications online. A digital badge can be used in email signatures, websites and social media platforms and contains verified metadata describing the qualification and the process required to earn it.
The University is developing an institutional approach to the use of digital badges with the intention of ensuring that the badges we issue reflect meaningful demonstrated achievement. The initial pilot digital badging project will apply to Future Professional Leaders of Function, a development program run by the Business School and available to University of Sydney staff.
We expect to extend digital badges to other University of Sydney programs from Semester 2, 2020.

While badges may be digital image files, they are uniquely linked to data hosted on the Accredible platform. This link to verified data makes them more reliable and secure than a paper-based certificate. It also eliminates the possibility of anyone claiming your credential and your associated identity.
One of the benefits of a digital credential is that it is easily shared. Let colleagues, friends, and prospective employers alike know what you've achieved. You can share your badge directly from the Accredible platform to LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook; over email; embedded in a website or in your email signature.
