| 3 | Apply advanced research principles and skills to interpret existing data and formulate and test research hypotheses to address the legal implications or scientific basis of novel environmental problems. |
| 4 | Critically evaluate the validity and quality of information sources in environmental science and law and identify knowledge gaps. |
| 5 | Interpret the significance and scope of ethical principles and the application of these principles in environmental science and law. |
| 6 | Demonstrate creativity and initiative when addressing novel environmental problems and their legal implications, using expert disciplinary knowledge and judgement with strong personal autonomy and accountability. |
