2Demonstrate and apply knowledge of the different theoretical approaches that define the field of international relations, and of their founding concepts to its other issueareas.
3Evaluate research designs, methods, and conclusions and identify how new or established concepts can be applied in novel fashion.
4Synthesise complex theoretical arguments or concepts, and develop critical analysis of scholarly work in international relations.
5Evaluate real-world political events and issues against normative and empirical theories of international relations.
