Change and Hope – A Celebration of Transformation and Resilience, presented by the Centre for Disability Research and Policy and Disability At Work Network.

Welcome to the "Change and Hope" Amateur Art Competition, a creative platform for amateur artists with disabilities.

This unique event aims to explore visions of the future, personal or collective, shaped by Hopes and Changes as envisioned by artists as they reflect on their lived experiences of disability.

We invite amateur artists with disabilities - of all ages and all disabilities - to express their visions of change and hope through their art. What needs to be done for change, and how are we going to get there? How do we keep the flame of hope alive while battling against insurmountable odds? Why is change important? And how will we know when change has happened?

We encourage you to share your unique perspective and narrative through the medium of your choice. All mediums are welcome – from the traditional to the avant-garde, the tactile to the digital, all artworks capturing the essence of "Change and Hope” and celebrating lived-experience will be considered. Submit your artwork before midnight on Saturday 1st of November 2025, and you will be in the running to win one of a selection of prizes!

See below for further details including Terms and Conditions, prizes on offer, and how to make a submission.
