3–4 September 2022
Join us to view a selection of the 2022 entries from primary and secondary students in the Sleek Geeks Eureka Prize.
Sponsored by the University of Sydney and presented with the assistance of the Australian Museum, the Sleek Geeks Eureka Prize encourages students to communicate a scientific concept in a way that is accessible and entertaining to the public while painlessly increasing their science knowledge, or as prize patrons, Dr Karl and Adam Spencer like to say, "Learn something without even noticing".
This year, students were asked to explore the theme "Change", with shortlisted entries educating viewers on a diverse range of topics that include the complex reproductive hierarchy of clownfish, how the human brain responds when it becomes crowded and the regenerative capacity of stem cells.
Join us in our School Education Room as we view the entries from this year's budding scientists (Videos will be played on loop from 12–4pm).
