University Open Day 2023
Find the unexpected in a series of talks, tours and object handling throughout University Open Day.
Saturday 26 August, 10 am – 4 pm: Join us at the Chau Chak Wing Museum as we celebrate Open Day 2023 with a range of activities in the museum.
Free activities in the museum will include:
- Short museum highlight tours will depart from the museum entrance every hour on the hour.
- A series of short talks by our curatorial team will take place in the Nelson Meers Foundation Auditorium outlining the latest research on the collections and highlighting unexpected collection items
- The opportunity to handle museum items with our education team in a special hands-on session
Join us to explore our collections of antiquities, art, natural history and Indigenous culture
