High school tours
Tours of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music are available for school groups by appointment during Semester.
Led by our current student ambassadors, this 1-hour tour will guide you through our state of art facilities, while offering an opportunity to ask questions about your study options with the SCM.
Book a Conservatorium campus tour
You may wish to book your tour to coincide with a music workshop (see below) or one of our lunchtime concerts.

Workshops
The Sydney Conservatorium of Music offers a number of music workshops for high school students through the Open Academy in:
- Lyric writing
- Gamelan
- HSC performance masterclass
- Composing for Film
and more.
We run our workshops by request depending on the availability of our teachers and spaces, so please include your preferred subject in the booking form. Please let us know via the booking form if you are interested in a tour and workshop package. We also ask that you give us four weeks’ notice.
