You’re also invited to celebrate our 110th birthday with a special concert series showcasing the stories, people and collaborations that have shaped the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Music Workshop, Friday 8 August 7:00pm

The SCM Percussion department, conducted by Daryl Pratt, presents a wonderful program of works by Steve Reich, Gareth Farr, Robert Oetomo, and Daryl Pratt for a special SCM110 event with current students and alumni guests.

Verbrugghen Hall, Friday 22 August 7:00pm

The SCM Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Roger Benedict, presents works from SCM Student, Adriel Sukumar, Einojuhani Rautavaara, and Dmitry Shostakovich, featuring piano soloist, Samuel Jeon.

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music Early Music Ensemble warmly invites you to their Greenway concert this semester, performing an array of works under candlelight by Handel, Gluck, and Mozart, with conductor Professor Neal Peres Da Costa, and soprano soloist Anna Fraser.

Netball: The Musical (© 2025) is a hilarious and original celebration of community spirit and resilience, with book and lyrics by Narelle Yeo, Sarah MacDonald, and Erin McKellar. This inventive musical explores themes of belonging, leadership, and courage through the lens of seven quirky netball players, competing in Australia's most beloved women's sport.

Join the SCM Wind Symphony as they perform their final concert of 2025, presenting a magnificent programme conducted by international guest, Dr. Mary K. Schneider, Professor of Conducting and Director of Bands at Eastern Michigan University.

The SCM Chinese Music Ensemble returns in Semester 2 with a vibrant program, showcasing the rich tapestry of Chinese music, performed on traditional instruments.

Conducted by Professor Neal Peres Da Costa, the SCM Early Music Ensemble presents a distinctive concert featuring students who specialize in period instruments and historically informed performance practices, bringing the sounds of the past vividly to life.

Constantine Costi directs a new production of Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld, a co-production between the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Stay tuned for more details to come for this thrilling collaboration.
