Neurobiology youth follow-up study: Establishing a longitudinal research database for the youth mental health population

A research study that aims to establish a longitudinal research database consisting of mental health treatment seeking youth.

We invite you to take part in a research study that aims to establish a longitudinal research database consisting of mental health treatment seeking youth.

The database hopes to better track and characterise this population to enable effective early interventions and provide young people maximal opportunity for full recovery.

Participants will be invited to take part in a series of assessments at specified time points over a 3 year period. These assessments cover the following domains:

• Mental and physical health
• Memory and thinking functions
• Activity levels and sleep patterns
• Genetic risk markers

Eligibility

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Aged 12-30 years
  • Currently engaged in treatment for mental health
