Four Scholarship amounts are offered based on ranking against the selection criteria:
I. $10,000 in total towards academic tuition fees across the first three semesters. The $10,000 will be split evenly across the first three associated semesters, or
II. $20,000 in total towards academic tuition fees across the first three semesters. The $20,000 will be split evenly across the first three associated semesters, or
III. $30,000 in total towards academic tuition fees across the first three semesters. The $30,000 will be split evenly across the first three associated semesters, or
IV. $40,000 in total towards academic tuition fees split evenly across the first four semesters.

1. Background
a. Established in 2025, this Scholarship is generously funded by the University of Sydney Business School to assist students commencing the Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Technology and Digital Strategy) at the University of Sydney.
2. Eligibility
a. Applicants must have an unconditional offer of admission for the MBA (Technology and Digital Strategy) within the University of Sydney Business School at the University of Sydney.
b. Students currently enrolled in the University of Sydney MBA (Technology and Digital Strategy) and employees of the University of Sydney are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
3. Selection Criteria
a. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:
I. academic merit, and
II. a personal statement which demonstrates why the applicant would benefit from the scholarship, their academic achievements, community involvement, extra-curricular activities, leadership qualities, and awards and recognition.
b. Shortlisted applicants may be requested to attend a video conference interview.
c. The Scholarship will be awarded on the nomination of a selection committee consisting of the Director, MBA, or their nominated delegate, and at least one representative of the MBA Program.
4. Value
a. Four Scholarship amounts are offered based on ranking against the selection criteria:
I. $10,000 in total towards academic tuition fees across the first three semesters. The $10,000 will be split evenly across the first three associated semesters, or
II. $20,000 in total towards academic tuition fees across the first three semesters. The $20,000 will be split evenly across the first three associated semesters, or
II. $30,000 in total towards academic tuition fees across the first three semesters. The $30,000 will be split evenly across the first three associated semesters, or
IV. $40,000 in total towards academic tuition fees split evenly across the first four semesters.
b. The scholarship amount will be indicated in the offer letter and awarded by the MBA Team.
c. Deferral of the Scholarship is not permitted without the prior permission of Director, MBA and it is not transferable to another University school, faculty or university.
d. The Scholarship will be offered subject to the availability of funds.
e. No other amount is payable. Recipients are responsible for the payment of the Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF).
5. Ongoing eligibility
a. To continue receipt of the Scholarship, the recipient must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester.
b. The Scholarship recipient must maintain a continuous enrolment of minimum 18 credit points per year, unless under exceptional circumstances approval is granted by the Director MBA to enroll in less than 18 credit points in any given year.
c. Suspension of the scholarship is only permitted under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the relevant Associate Dean (or their nominee).
6. Termination
a. The Scholarship will be terminated if the recipient:
I. withdraws from an eligible course or fails to enrol,
II. does not maintain satisfactory academic performance,
III. does not meet the minimum enrolment load requirement without prior permission from the Director, MBA
IV. is determined by the University to be guilty of serious misconduct, including, but not limited to, having provided false or misleading information as part of their Scholarship application,
V. is awarded an alternative primary scholarship. In such circumstances this scholarship will be terminated in favour of the alternative scholarship where the alternative scholarship is of higher value,
VI. has outstanding unpaid academic tuition fees,
VII. does not resume study at the end of a period of approved leave, or
VIII. any other provision as indicated in these terms that would lead to termination.
b. Once the Scholarship has been terminated, it will not be reinstated unless due to University error.
c. Where a student is found guilty of serious misconduct or withdraws from the relevant course, the University reserves the right to request that any Scholarship funds paid to the Scholarship recipient be reimbursed.
7. Representation
a. The recipient will be invited to promote the MBA Program and represent the University of Sydney Business School at student orientation, marketing and corporate networking events.
