For over three science-to-the-brim decades, Dr Karl has taken us on wild rides through black holes and belly-button fluff (Ig Nobel Laureate), climate change and electric cars, earworms and gravitational waves. See him fly (pulling 5Gs!!) with the RAAF Roulettes, withstand a blizzard outdoors in Antarctica, save a life in the Himalayas, test drive 4WDs in the outback for a few decades, survive coming off the race track in an uncontrolled spin at 200 kph, glory in seven years of Sleek Geeks around Australia, fill the Sydney Town Hall several times – and lots more. (All these exploits involve Real Science, of course).

Dr Karl Kruszelnicki AM just loves science to pieces, and has been spreading the word in print, on TV and radio, and online for more than thirty years.
Dr Karl is a lifetime student with degrees in physics and mathematics, biomedical engineering and medicine and surgery. Since 1995, Dr Karl has been the Julius Sumner Miller Fellow at the University of Sydney. In 2019 he was awarded the UNESCO Kalinga Prize for the Popularisation of Science.
