Your credit offer

Domestic students

You can enrol in your new course first, and then accept or decline the credit offered when you receive your credit outcome.

International students

You need to wait for your credit outcome and accept or decline the offer, before you can enrol in your new course.

We can only issue a new eCoE once credit has been applied to your new course – we'll email you once your new eCoE is ready. Afterwards, you will then be able to enrol in your new course.

Your course transfer offer

Receiving an outcome

If you’re transferring courses and will continue your studies at the University, once approved we will email you with:

  • an outcome
  • an offer letter for the new course.

Standard processing time is 10 working days (longer in peak period).

If you requested to graduate early through an early exit, we will check that you have met the requirements for your new course.

  • If you're eligible to graduate, you will receive a completion letter.
  • If you haven’t met the requirements for the course, you may need to enrol in further units of study.

Responding to your offer

You need to review your course transfer offer as soon as possible – follow the instructions in the email to accept or decline the offer in Sydney Student.

Enrolling in your new course

Once you accept your course transfer offer, we'll email you with instructions on how to enrol into your new course.

If you're an international student, you need to receive and respond to your credit offer before you can enrol in your new course.

Discontinue your current course

You will also need to discontinue your current course, but should only do this once:

  • You have received your results for the current semester.
  • You have accepted your offer (and received your new eCoE if you are an international student).
