The Safer Communities Office provide trauma-informed case management to people that have experienced sexual harm, gender-based violence, domestic and family violence, bullying, harassment and issues related to modern slavery.

You can have a confidential conversation with our staff in person, over the phone or on Zoom, whether you are currently within Australia or offshore.
Mandarin-speaking staff are available, and interpreter services can be arranged for other languages on request.
Safer Communities Office staff are available 9 am to 5 pm (Sydney local time), Monday to Friday. You can speak to us or make an appointment on the phone, by email or by booking online.
Sexual harm is any sexual activity without consent, including sexual assault, sexual harassment, voyeurism and recording or sharing real or fake intimate images without consent. If you experience sexual harm, we can provide support and help you report the incident if you want to.
Gender based violence is physical or non-physical violence, harassment, abuse or threats, based on gender (including sex, gender, gender identity and gender expression), that results in, or is likely to result in harm, coercion, control, fear or deprivation of liberty or autonomy.
Being aware of your sexual health is about having the information and support you need to explore your sexuality and relationships in a healthy, respectful and safe way.
We are committed to supporting students affected by domestic and family violence, which are forms of gender-based violence. If you experience domestic or family violence, we can provide support and help you report the incident if you want to.
