What is the latest science and how worried should we be?

Join Professor Michael Mann, Cate Harris, Zoe Whitton, Dr Tanya Fiedler, Mark Nagle and Nick Wood for a review of the latest climate change science, as well as an in-depth discussion of how climate change is likely to impact capital markets in the near to medium term.

Professor Michael Mann is Distinguished Professor of Atmospheric Science at Penn State, was a Lead Author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Third Scientific Assessment Report in 2001 and in this contributed, with other IPCC authors, to the award of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. He is a recipient of multiple international scientific awards and made Bloomberg News’ list of fifty most influential people in 2013. Dr. Mann is author of more than 200 peer-reviewed and edited publications, numerous op-eds and commentaries, and four books.

Dr Tanya Fiedler is a lecturer in the Discipline of Accounting at the University of Sydney. 

Cate Harris is the Group Head of Sustainability and Lendlease Foundation, responsible for the remit of both functions across Lendlease’s operations globally.

Dr Michael Mann is a Professor at Penn State, with joint appointments in the Department of Geosciences and the Earth and Environmental Systems Institute (EESI). 

Mark Nagle is the Executive Director of Treysta Wealth Management. 

Zoe Whitton (Chair) leads the Asian arm of Citi’s ESG Research team, covering particularly climate change and sustainable development.
