This unit will allow students to analyse how a particular topic of ancient history research has developed over time and to develop a firmer grasp of the state of the field. This will aid in developing both historical skills and a sharper appreciation of how to situate research within the existing fields of Greek and Roman history. The thematic focus of the unit will vary from year to year.
