The goal of this capstone unit of study is to give students practical experience in a health and medical research work setting. The focus is on the application of the knowledge and skills learnt during the coursework Master's program. This unit is for students who wish to have a capstone experience with either greater breadth or depth. This will be achieved through the completion of a second distinct research project (which differs in the aims and statistical methods to the first project in BSTA5020), or one larger project with multiple associated challenges and complexities.
