Digital Music Composition 2 supports the sustained development of compositional craft and creativity through the practical integration of music technology and digital music techniques in the preparation of sound-based compositions to be submitted throughout the semester. The unit will focus on the approaches taken over the last century to record, transform and organise sound in a variety of creative contexts, ranging from early electroacoustic music experiments, through to contemporary electronic music production.
