This unit continues on from CSCD5060 Language 1 – Early Development and Disorders and introduces students to spoken and written language and literacy difficulties, disorders and differences in children and adolescents aged 5-18 years. Students will learn the principles and practices for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of universal, targeted and specialist services for language and literacy needs in children and adolescents.
