The importance of statistical methods in evaluation, interpretation and presentation of data is emphasised. The students will be able to apply the tools used for the assessment of the oral health status and treatment needs for the community, children, adolescents and special groups. They will have an understanding of the availability of community dental health services in Australasia and the assessment and financing of dental services in relation to dental needs and resources.
