This unit is a continuation of Oral Medicine 2A. Students consolidate their knowledge and practical skills during outpatient Oral Medicine clinics at Westmead Hospital. Students work towards developing competency in the diagnosis and management of oral mucosal disease, disorders of the salivary glands, orofacial pain, and temporomandibular dysfunction. Students continue to be involved in treatment planning for the dental management of medically complex patients.
