This unit is a continuation of Internal and General Medicine 2A. Student continue to participate in clinical rotations through various medical and dental specialty clinics at Westmead Hospital continue, and include: Head and Neck Radiation Oncology, Haematology (with emphasis on the care of patients undergoing haematopoietic stem cell transplants), Dermatology, Immunology, Radiology/Nuclear Medicine, Respiratory Medicine; and Orofacial Pain. Students continue to attend weekly Medical Grand Rounds. Students start to become competent in pharmacological management of the oral manifestations of these systemic conditions.
