Understanding of sustainable technology helps students to mitigate pressing issues on global warming, clean energy, and sustainability. This unit will allow students to gain knowledge on creating more sustainable energy and environment through energy minimisation schemes, enhanced power generation and cooling systems, renewable energy, waste minimisation, and circular economy. The concepts are applicable to revitalise industry, transportation, manufacturing, business and community sectors to be more sustainable. Based on the knowledge, the students will work on community sustainable intervention project. Tutorials are given to help students consolidate the concepts and guide them to develop the project topics and undertake step-by-step approach on sustainability projects.
