Introduction to Engineering ENGG1800 is a unit for first year students undertaking “Flexible First Year”. It is designed to be taken with ENGF1112. In ENGG1800, the students will learn fundamental engineering concepts including materials, fluid, energy, forces, and sustainability. Applications of these topics on daily life and industrial settings will be used to highlight the relevance of the topics to the engineering disciplines of Aeronautical, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Environmental, Mechanical and Mechatronics.
