The aim of this unit is to investigate the strategic application of the principles of musculoskeletal assessment and exercise prescription to target specific prevention and rehabilitation goals. The unit explores the pathophysiological basis of exercise limitations and application of exercise to rehabilitate functional capacity across a range of common musculoskeletal conditions of the lower body and low back. The unit also explores the scope of practice of the AEP in occupational rehabilitation and compensable systems.
