This unit examines a global range of Chinese-language literatures from the last forty years and from various regions of Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the West, including Australia. Literary texts will be placed in social and political contexts. The unit is taught in English.
