This foundational unit introduces students to the architecture of business, including the essential components and systems that underpin organisational operations and performance. Students explore various business models, governance structures, and organisational forms to understand how businesses operate, how they create and deliver value, and how different arrangements can support innovation, resilience, and ethical outcomes. This unit lays the groundwork for the remainder of the program by providing the conceptual and analytical tools to ‘see’ business as a system that can be designed and reconfigured.
