This is the third and final unit of study in image evaluation. Building upon MRTY2102 and MRTY2106, this unit now goes beyond plain film imaging to undertake image evaluation employing the specialised modalities of CT, MRI and Ultrasound. Each modality will offer students an insight into alternative imaging systems focusing on image interpretation analysis of both pathology and image critique. The range of clinical scenarios will include cross sectional images and planar imaging. Students will learn about medical image perception of images from a 2D and 3D perspective.
