Advanced Clinical Practice is designed to consolidate and extend students' clinical competence as they prepare for transition to professional practice. This unit focuses on developing advanced technical skills and professional capabilities. Students will build expertise in advanced CT imaging, including pharmacology and contrast agents, intravenous contrast administration, advanced CT imaging protocols, and advanced CT cardiac imaging. Students will also be introduced to advanced practice concepts, including student supervision, mentorship, displaying leadership in professional practice, professionalism, and strategies to develop resilience as they prepare to take on the responsibilities of graduate radiographers.
