This elective unit is tailored for students aspiring to practice in specialised areas of occupational therapy to promote participation and health across the lifespan. Within this unit, students will select two specific practice areas, each focused on enhancing participation and health. Through critical appraisal and application of relevant concepts and approaches, students will develop fundamental knowledge and skills essential for their chosen specialised practice. Moreover, the unit will enhance their professional competency in planning and delivering occupational therapy services, empowering individuals to effectively address a variety of challenges affecting their participation and health.
