This unit explores key issues around global and regional migration, examining structural, institutional, ethical and policy debates that inform efforts to understand aspects of the global migration system. This includes issues such as migrant identity and identification, complex displacement, policy regulation and implementation, and migration imaginaries. Through empirical and theoretical lenses, this unit aims to analyse efforts to seek out solutions to migrations global challenges.
