The University of Sydney no longer operates the Electrophysiology Service (EPS) (also referred to as the Visual Electrodiagnostic Service).
On 1 July 2026, responsibility for the EPS transferred from the University of Sydney to South Eastern Local Health District (SESLHD), and since that date the Australian Ophthalmic Diagnostic Institute (AODI) has operated the EPS under temporary transitional arrangements.
From 1 October 2026, those temporary transitional arrangements will end.
