Our clinics enable translation of research into real-world practice. Our many services for patients help us achieve our vision of a better quality of life for those affected by conditions of the brain and mind.

Patient services are an important part of the work we undertake, allowing us to connect directly with individuals whose lifes we hope to improve.

Our researchers and clinics work in partnership with industry, hospitals and health care providers to develop innovative treatments, technologies and procedures, which offer potentially life-changing solutions for patients.

Importantly, research is informed by the needs of patients, carers, families and the community, to ensure the Brain and Mind Centre leads generational change in brain and mind sciences.

Autism clinic

Led by Professor Adam Guastella, The University of Sydney’s Clinic for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Research (CAN Research) conducts world-leading studies that aim to enhance the lives of individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, intellectual developmental disorder and Tourette's syndrome.

GambleAware - Central Sydney, Blue Mountains and Western Sydney, and South Western Sydney

If you, or someone you know, is suffering because of gambling, we’re here to help. We have clinics in Central Sydney, Blue Mountains and Western Sydney, and South Western Sydney. We offer face-to-face, online, and over-the-phone therapy for difficulties related to gambling harm and provide support for close friends and relatives as well.

The Psychology clinic provides psychological assessment, therapy and psychometric assessments. Our services are for adults, children, adolescents and their families, the general community as well as University staff and students.
