Dr Basia Radlinska, a Clinical Psychologist from Coffs Harbour in regional NSW, has been awarded the 2025 Anstice MBA Scholarship for Community Leadership. Valued at over $70,000, the scholarship assists emerging leaders in community organisations to acquire world class business and management skills through completing the part-time MBA.

Dr Basia Radlinska began her career as a clinician, clinical lead, and clinical educator within multidisciplinary teams. From not-for-profit and government organisations to private practice sectors, she’s now been awarded an opportunity to further contribute to mental health care and access to clinical expertise for everyone.

Basia has dedicated much of her career to the healthcare sector and not-for-profit organisations. Now as the clinical director for two large mental health practices on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Basia supports over 30 clinicians who provide direct therapeutic services to clients. She also remains connected with the not-for-profit sector through her role as clinical educator at headspace, providing clinical supervision to psychologists at all levels. She also develops and facilitates bespoke workshops in trauma-informed practice for organisations that provide healthcare, mental health care, legal and education services.

For me, my personal achievements are second to the improvement of mental health service provision for my community. I believe in the importance of accessibility to clinical expertise and appropriate mental health care for everyone.

Dr Basia Radlinska

Anstice MBA Scholarship for Community Leadership recipient

“My passion for mental health care is values-driven, and my experience has been that the not-for-profit sector best allows me to fulfill my interests in social justice, access and equality to healthcare, and community support”

Along with a PhD in Neuroscience and a Master of Clinical Psychology, Basia is also PsyBA Clinical Supervisor, and teaches into postgraduate Psychology and Clinical Psychology programs nationally, demonstrating her commitment to supporting her community and the future of mental health care service provision in Australia.

“For me, my personal achievements are second to the improvement of mental health service provision for my community. I believe in the importance of accessibility to clinical expertise and appropriate mental health care for everyone, and opportunities for practitioners to work in a sustainable work environment,” said Basia.

Basia chose the University of Sydney MBA given the exceptional reputation of the program, and the opportunities it affords to learn from leaders in the field and alongside other students of the highest calibre. She hopes to be able to use the skills and knowledge from the MBA to continue to improve mental health care systems across Australia, and build stronger partnerships between the not-for-profit, government and private sectors.
