Anstice MBA Scholarship for Community Leadership

Semester 1, 2025 applications open in August.
Study Australia's No. 1 ranked part-time MBA with a scholarship valued at over $60,000.

Our part-time MBA has a strong focus on developing the personal and interpersonal skills required to lead in today’s hyper-connected, global environment.

This scholarship has the intention of assisting emerging leaders in community organisations acquire world class business and management skills.

The Anstice MBA Scholarship for Community Leadership is valued at over $60,000 and covers a maximum 4 years of the tuition fees for enrolment in the part-time MBA in semester 1, 2025.  

About the program

The part-time MBA is designed for professionals with 3-5 years of relevant experience looking to either take their career to the next level or change career direction. 

You can complete the degree in two to three years of part-time  study and it consists of 12 units of study – an integrated core of seven units, an industry capstone and up to four electives chosen by you.

Selection process

Entrants must register to apply and then complete an application form via our website. The application will include the submission of a statement of motivation.

How to apply

  • Register your interest to apply
  • Submit an online application form via our website (further details will be provided to you after you register your interest)
  • Upload a copy of your CV, academic transcript, and personal statement of motivation detailing:
    • what you hope to achieve professionally and personally by completing the University of Sydney MBA, and
    • your ability to demonstrate: 
      • experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
      • collaboration with for-profit and/or government organisations and an ability to network
      • the development of an initiative which has been adopted by your organisation and has proven sustainable
      • leadership experience, having coordinated a team in a project or business strategy to a successful outcome, and
      • personal achievements which have been recognised in the community.

Eligibility

The Anstice MBA Scholarship for Community Leadership is open to all students who meet the eligibility criteria for admission to the part-time MBA, commencing in semester 1, 2025.

Applicants need not have applied for the degree prior to applying for the scholarship – however – only those applicants deemed eligible for entry to the part-time MBA via the prevailing admissions processes are eligible to be awarded the scholarship. 

Preference will be given to those who currently are employed within the not-for-profit and social enterprise sectors.

The degree is currently not available to international students requiring a student visa. Current students enrolled in the University of Sydney MBA, University of Sydney employees are not eligible to apply.
